On certain fifth wheel trailers, disc brake caliper mounting hardware may not have been installed correctly during vehicle assembly. As a result, mounting nuts could loosen and eventually fall off allowing the caliper to move out of position. If this were to happen, trailer braking function would be compromised, which could result in a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the caliper mounting hardware with longer bolts, providing additional tread engagement.
