Monaco MONARCH in the other registers
This site holds seven national and European registers. Monaco MONARCH is named on 1 American notices. Those are separate campaigns, filed with separate authorities on their own schedules.
The American register
Nothing here says any of these is this notice in another country. A model recalled in one country is often recalled in another, in different words and at a different time, and the authorities do not cross-reference each other. Reading them together is the reason this site holds more than one register.

On certain motorhomes, incorrect screws were used to install the back-up monitor in the dash. These screws are 1/4 inch longer than specified and may contact an electronic board inside the monitor, which could contact a high voltage circuit of approx. 10,000-13,000 volts. If a screw makes contact with the high voltage tracer on the board, with electrical power switched ON, someone touching the screw could receive an electrical shock. Correction: Dealers will inspect the back-up monitor and, if functioning properly, will replace the screws. If the monitor is not operating properly, it will be replaced.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2006326.

Reading this against the source
This page is what Transport Canada published in the Vehicle Recalls Database, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /canada, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
What the words on this notice mean — the system it is filed under, and what the filing type says about who found the fault.
This notice names one vehicle among several registers that have written about it. Every notice this site holds for the Monaco RV Monarch, in all seven, is kept on that vehicle's own page, with the newest in each.
This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Canadian recalls on a Monaco: 48 in the register, and 377 Canadian vehicle recalls filed in 2006.
