On certain snowmobiles, the welding process used to manufacture the upper front shock tower brackets may not have achieved sufficient weld penetration. If separation of the welded joint(s) were to occur, the rider could lose control, either due to a sudden change in ride height or due to interference with the steering mechanism. This could result in a crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace both front shock towers.
