On certain trucks, the engine configuration makes servicing fuel injection lines difficult when using traditional tools. It is possible for fuel leaks to develop following recall campaign 2006258 (Mack SC0317) or when line removal is required to gain access to other engine components. Underhood fuel leakage could result in a vehicle fire. Correction: Dealers will install an updated fuel injection line that offers better clamping surface when torqued. This will be done using specially designed tools to ensure correct torque is applied.
