Certain vehicles may contain a defective switch console for the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Traction Control (TC-Off) switches. The LEDs in the switches can signal a function change in the PASM mode or the deactivation of Traction Control even though the switches were not actuated. Should these systems be inadvertently disabled, their safety benefits would be unavailable to the driver, which could increase the possibility of a crash during aggressive driving manoeuvres. Correction: Dealers will replace the switch console.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2007393.
