Certain travel trailers fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 110 - Tire Selection and Rims. The Tire & Loading Information label was inadvertently printed with incorrect information. The weight listed for cargo exceeds the actual cargo carrying capacity of the trailer. The weights were calculated without factoring in the unloaded weights of the vehicle. This incorrect information could lead to an overloading situation that could cause or contribute to the failure of frame components; possibly resulting in a sudden tire blowout or other failure which could result in a loss of control and a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners along with instructions for proper installation.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2009267.
