On certain Fifth wheel trailers the rear stabilizing jacks may extend while driving due to exposed wiring. If the exposed wiring is subject to road spray, it may activate the remote control panel and extend the jacks. This situation could result in a loss of control leading to a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Keystone will provide a new sealed switch for replacement.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2009357.
