On certain motorhomes, the wiper arms may crack at the mounting to the pivot shaft. This could allow the wiper arm(s) to become disabled without warning, which could lead to reduced driver visibility. Partial or complete loss of windshield wiping capability, should it occur during a rainy/snowy day, may compromise the driver's ability to see the road and its users, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace both wiper arms.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2011068.
