Certain vehicles may have been equipped with a driver power seat track assembly that was inadvertently manufactured with an incorrect worm gear. As a result, the driver seat may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 207 - Anchorage of Seats. During unusually high seat and seatbelt loading, such as during a crash, a seat track worm gear may disassemble, which could result in seat assembly movement, possibly causing personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the seat track assembly.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2011159.
