On certain fifth wheel trailers equipped with 235/80R16D tires, the Federal Identification tag and the Tire and Loading Information label may not contain correct tire pressure information. The labels incorrectly indicate the maximum tire inflation pressure as 552 kPa (80 psi), but instead should read 448 kPa (65 psi). Improper tire pressure can lead to tire failure which, in turn, can result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2011410.
