On certain travel trailers, the furnace exhaust vent may not have been installed during vehicle assembly. If the furnace is operated without exhaust ventilation, carbon monoxide will vent inside the trailer, which could result in asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning. The heat build-up from the exhaust can also result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect to ensure the furnace exhaust vent is present and correctly installed. If the vent was omitted, it will be added.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2012369.
