On certain vehicles equipped with a full-time four-wheel drive system, the transfer case controller could fail. This could cause the transfer case to shift into or through the neutral position, which may allow the vehicle to roll away, even with the transmission in the PARK position. Should the vehicle roll away, it could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the final drive controller with updated software.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2013155.
