Transport Canada carries this recall as 2014001, dated 2 January 2014. The American register carries the same defect as campaign 14V002, dated 6 January 2014. They are the same defect because the manufacturer filed both under one internal campaign code, 13S13.

On certain vehicles equipped with a 2.0L engine, the fuel line pulse damper may have been manufactured incorrectly and could develop cracks. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel line assembly. Note: This recall supersedes recall 2012-299 (12S40). Vehicles that were repaired under the previous campaign will also need to be repaired under this campaign.
