Canada — Transport Canada, Vehicle Recalls Database
Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 208 - Occupant Protection and CMVSS 305 - Electrolyte Spillage and Electrical Shock Protection. The front member assembly may not have been welded to specification. This may have an effect on crash performance and could result in non-compliance to the standards, which could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Correction: Dealers will inspect vehicles for improper welding. Vehicles found to have been improperly welded will be replaced.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2014137.
