Canada — Transport Canada, Vehicle Recalls Database
Certain vehicles may contain brake fluid that does not inhibit corrosion, which could cause corrosion to form in the anti-lock brake (ABS) module. This could result in longer brake pedal travel and/or reduced brake performance, vehicle instability and a rear wheel lock condition, which may increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect the ABS module and, if necessary, replace the module. Dealers are to also change the brake fluid and provide a supplement to the Owner Manual that instructs customers to use only GM recommended brake fluid.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2014317.
