On certain aerial devices installed on Ford F450 and F550 vehicles equipped with Stable Ride front torsion bars, improper welding could cause the torsion bar to fail, affecting aerial device stability in certain work positions, which could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Owners will be given instructions on how to inspect sway bars for improper welding and supplied with replacement sway bars as necessary. Owners may contact Altec at 1-877-462-5832.
