Canada — Transport Canada, Vehicle Recalls Database
On certain aerial devices installed on utility service vehicles (to elevate personnel in order to facilitate working on overhead service lines, for tree trimming, etc.), unintended boom movement could occur in severe cold temperature operation if hydraulic oil warm-up procedures are not followed. This could allow the aerial device to move unexpectedly, which could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Preset pressure transducers will be added or updated as necessary. Owners may contact Altec at 1-877-462-5832.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2015004.
