On certain motorcycles, inner front fork components may not have been tightened properly. This could allow the inner front fork to become loose and cause the suspension to stick. Should the suspension become stuck, this could affect the vehicle handling and lead to a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, tighten the loose components.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2015011.
