Can-Am SPYDER F3 in the other registers
This site holds seven national and European registers. Can-Am SPYDER F3 is named on 2 American notices, 3 British and 1 European. Those are separate campaigns, filed with separate authorities on their own schedules.
The American register
The British register
- DVSA recall RSPV/2023/002: Brp-Can Am Spyder F3-S, Can-Am Spyder F3 and Spyder F3 (The rearview mirror lenses may dislodge from the mirror housing)
- DVSA recall RM/2024/002: Brp-Can Am Can-Am Spyder F3 and Can-Am Spyder F3-S (Rearview mirror lenses may dislodge – decreased visibility)

The European register
Nothing here says any of these is this notice in another country. A model recalled in one country is often recalled in another, in different words and at a different time, and the authorities do not cross-reference each other. Reading them together is the reason this site holds more than one register.

Certain "Coast to Coast" passenger seats sold as an accessory for 2015 and 2016 Spyder F3 vehicles may contain a defect. The seat may cause the presence of a passenger to fail to be detected by the vehicle, affecting the function of the vehicle stability control. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Owners of affected seats should immediately stop using them and return to their dealer for a refund.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2016353.

Reading this against the source
This page is what Transport Canada published in the Vehicle Recalls Database, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /canada, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
What the words on this notice mean — the system it is filed under, and what the filing type says about who found the fault.
This notice names one vehicle among several registers that have written about it. Every notice this site holds for the Can-Am Spyder F3, in all seven, is kept on that vehicle's own page, with the newest in each.
This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Canadian recalls on a Can-Am: 56 in the register, and 644 Canadian vehicle recalls filed in 2016.
