On certain vehicles, the first and/or second row seat fasteners may not have been tightened to specification at time of assembly. This could result in squeaks, rattles, deflection or unsatisfactory joint integrity, which could compromise the structural integrity of the seat, potentially increasing the risk of injury to vehicle occupants during a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the seats or seat sets as necessary.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2016393.
