On certain vehicles, the front lower control arm ball joints may fail due to a manufacturing process error. if this occurs, the knuckle could separate from the front lower control arm, which could affect vehicle handling and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction : Dealers will inspect and replace the lower control arm to knuckle bolt and nut as necessary.
