Canada — Transport Canada, Vehicle Recalls Database
Certain vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS) 208 - Occupant Protection in Frontal Impacts and CMVSS 212 - Windshield Mounting. The bonding of the windshield might not meet specifications of the 212 standard. This could result in the possibility of the windshield separating in the event of a crash, and in the case of a head-on collision warranting deployment of the passenger frontal airbag, the windshield might not be able to support the airbag as intended, affecting compliance to the 208 standard and increasing the risk of injury to the front passenger seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will replace the windshield.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2017060.
