On certain vehicles, the fuel pressure sensor may not have been tightened properly when the corrective measure of recall 2012-074 was performed. As a result, the fuel pressure sensor may loosen over time, which could cause a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and retighten the fuel pressure sensor as necessary.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2018121.
