Update - October 21, 2024: This parts recovery campaign was re-opened and its scope expanded. rnrnHyundai Auto Canada is conducting a parts recovery campaign targeting 2009 Elantra and Elantra Touring vehicles built between January 15 and April 15, 2009. Owners of subject vehicles will be notified by mail and the driver frontal airbag module will be replaced at no charge. The parts are being recovered to aid in Hyundai's analysis in support of Transport Canada defect investigation file no. 3280-38-18. rnrnNote: No safety defect has been identified with these vehicles and this action is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
