Mercedes-Benz S CLASS in the other registers
This site holds seven national and European registers. Mercedes-Benz S CLASS is named on 5 American notices, 3 British and 4 European. Those are separate campaigns, filed with separate authorities on their own schedules.
The American register
The British register
The European register
Nothing here says any of these is this notice in another country. A model recalled in one country is often recalled in another, in different words and at a different time, and the authorities do not cross-reference each other. Reading them together is the reason this site holds more than one register.

On certain vehicles, the two nuts that secure the power bars inside the pre-fuse-box in the trunk might not have been installed. If the power bars are not secure, it could lead to a higher electrical resistance, increasing the risk of fire. Additionally, an intermittent contact between the power bars could lead to a loss of vehicle functions. The engine operation, the seat belt functions and the instrument cluster could be affected, increasing the risk of a crash and injuries. Correction: Dealers will inspect the pre-fuse-box and replace if necessary.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2018327.

Reading this against the source
This page is what Transport Canada published in the Vehicle Recalls Database, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /canada, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
What the words on this notice mean — the system it is filed under, and what the filing type says about who found the fault.
This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Canadian recalls on a Mercedes-Benz: 477 in the register, and 704 Canadian vehicle recalls filed in 2018.
