This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2020-488. rnrnOn certain vehicles equipped with an Eaton automated manual transmission and electronic clutch actuator (ECA), an internal component within the clutch assembly may have been manufactured improperly and could fail. If this occurs, the broken clutch components could prevent the transmission from disengaging or shifting to neutral. This could result in unintended vehicle movement, even if the parking brake is applied, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Daimler Trucks of North America Authorized Service Facilities will recalibrate the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and replace components as necessary.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2018714.
