Issue: rnOn certain motorhomes, there may be a loose connection between the battery cables and the Battery Isolation Manager (BIM) or the Battery Isolation Relay (BIR). A lose connection could cause a premature failure of the BIM/BIR and/or cause electrical arcing (sparks).rn rnSafety Risk: rnElectrical arcing could create the risk of a fire.rn rnCorrective Actions: rnThor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to install lock washers to secure the battery cable to the BIM/BIR. The BIM/BIR will be replaced as necessary.
