Issue:
On certain motorhomes, the generator exhaust pipe may be routed incorrectly. This could cause it to be damaged or sheared off if the motorhome is driven on an incline.Safety Risk:
A damaged or missing generator exhaust pipe may allow carbon monoxide to enter the motorhome. This could result in asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning.Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the generator exhaust pipe with a redesigned pipe that exits at the rear of the motorhome.
