Issue: rnOn certain buses, the driveshaft clamp bolts may not be properly tightened. As a result, the driveshaft could detach. This could cause a loss of power to the drive wheels and disable the bus. It could also cause the driveshaft to detach completely from the vehicle. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA bus that is disabled could result in a transfer of passengers in an uncontrolled environment, which may create a risk of injury. Additionally, a driveshaft that separates from the vehicle could create a hazard for others nearby and increase the risk of a crash.rnrnCorrective Actions: rnPrevost will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a Prevost service center to replace and ensure the driveshaft clamps are tightened correctly.
