Issue: rnThis recall is for certain snow bike conversion systems, sold as an aftermarket kit designed to be installed on an off-road motorcycle to allow for winter use. Over time, the brake lever may begin to feel soft. This can cause reduced braking and could make it difficult to stop the vehicle. rnrnSafety Risk: rnReduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnCamso will send a service bulletin to all dealers and distributors of these products. Owners of an affected product should contact their dealer to have it repaired. Dealers will be instructed to replace the affected brake components with updated parts.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2020095.
