Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the front brake hoses may contact the fender liners. This could cause damage to the hoses that can result in a brake fluid leak. If this happens, brake performance could be reduced.rnNote: A brake fluid leak can cause the low brake fluid warning to turn on. rn rnSafety Risk: rnReduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnMercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the front brake hoses. If the hoses are damaged, they will be replaced. Additionally, the front fenders liners will be cut to prevent future damage.
