Issue: rnOn certain motorcycles, the material that the tire pressure, compliance and/or noise emission labels are printed on may be incorrect. As a result, the labels could detach from the frame. If this happens, and the owneru2019s manual isnu2019t consulted, the correct tire pressure information may not be known. This could lead to the tires being inflated incorrectly and cause poor handling and/or a tire failure. rnrnSafety Risk: rnPoor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnBMW will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the labels.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2020387.
