Issue: rnOn certain travel trailers equipped with a Dometic propane gas stove, there could be an odour of propane gas after a short period of use. If a user attempts to tighten the bolt for the stove's valve in order to stop the smell, they could over-tighten the bolt and cause damage to a seal. This can result in a constant gas leak.rn rnSafety Risk: rnA propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion.rn rnCorrective Action: rnEscape Trailer will notify owners by mail. A remedy kit and instructions will be provided to you by either Dometic or Escape Trailer. You will be advised to take your trailer to an authorized Dometic service facility to replace the defective hardware and perform a leak test. If you smell propane gas inside the trailer, evacuate without delay and turn off the gas supply immediately.
