Issue: rnOn certain trucks, the side mirror glass may not be properly attached. This could cause the mirror glass to fall off. rnNote: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall 2019-375 (Hino recall M0330). Vehicles that were inspected or repaired under that recall also require this second inspection or repair. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA missing mirror will reduce rear visibility and could increase the risk of a crash. If the mirror glass falls from the vehicle, it could strike another vehicle or pedestrian. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnHino will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their truck to a dealer to inspect the build date of mirrors. The mirrors will be replaced as necessary.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2021126.
