Issue:rnOn certain vehicles, the cable that connects the negative battery terminal to the frame may be too short and could break. If this happens, it will not be possible to start the engine. rnrnSafety Risk: rnIn certain situations, a vehicle that cannot be re-started could create an increased risk of a crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnHino will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to install an extension bracket on the negative battery terminal. Dealers will also inspect the ground cable terminal for damage. If damage is found, the cable will be replaced.
