Issue: rnOn certain scooters, the primary sheave nut in the clutch could loosen and fall off over time. If this happens, the engine could stall and you may not be able to restart it. rnNote: You may notice abnormal engine noises if the primary sheave nut comes loose. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.rn rnCorrective Actions: rnYamaha will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your scooter to a dealer to replace the primary sheave nut and washer.
