If this happens, the transmission could jam and cause a sudden lock up of the rear wheel. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA rear wheel that locks suddenly could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.rn rnCorrective Actions: rnYamaha will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the transmission assembly with one that has an updated design and reprogram the electronic control unit (ECU).
