Issue: rnOn certain motorhomes, the heat shield installed behind the refrigerator may be mounted too low. As a result, when the refrigerator is on, the wood frame behind it could overheat and be charred by exhaust. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA wood frame that overheats could catch fire. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnTriple E will notify owners by mail and provide you with a heat shield and instructions for installing it. Alternatively, you can take your motorhome to a dealer or RV service center to have the heat shield installed. To reduce the safety risk, Triple E recommends that you should turn off the propane until the recall repairs have been completed.
