Issue: rnOn certain snowmobiles, a software error causes the speedometer to show a vehicle speed that is half (50 %) of the true speed. rnNote: This recall only affects certain snowmobiles with either a 600 ACE or 900 ACE engine. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA speedometer that shows only half of the vehicle speed could lead you to drive too fast. This could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnBRP will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your snowmobile to a dealer to update the engine control module (ECM).
