Issue: rnOn a small number of RV trailers, a washer in the wheel hub assembly could crack. If this happens, the wheel bearings could wear quickly and cause an axle failure. This could result in a wheel assembly separating from the trailer. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA wheel separation could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a wheel that separates could also hit another person or vehicle. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnAirstream will notify owners by mail and instruct you to contact Dexter Axle to schedule a mobile service technician, who will replace the cartridge bearing washers.
