Issue: rnOn certain trucks, a problem in the engine control module (ECM) could cause a short circuit. If this happens, the engine could stall and you may not be able to restart it. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnCummins will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a Cummins authorized service center to replace the engine control module.
