Issue: rnOn certain trucks equipped with a gasoline engine, the connector for the oil pressure sensor was wired incorrectly. As a result, the oil pressure warning light will not turn on when the engine oil pressure is low. Operating the engine with low oil pressure could cause damage or an engine failure. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnIsuzu will notify owners by mail. For unsold trucks, an Isuzu dealer will repair the engine harness wiring assembly connector before it is sold. For vehicles that have been sold, the corrective actions are still under development.
