Issue: rnOn certain trucks equipped with a gasoline engine, the left-rear brake line may contact a grounding bolt. Over time, this could cause damage that can result in a brake fluid leak. If this happens, brake performance could be reduced.rnrnSafety Risk: rnReduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnIsuzu will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the left-rear brake line to ensure it was installed properly. If not, the brake line will be replaced. If replacement parts are not available, the brake line will be repositioned as an interim measure and replaced when parts become available.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2020142.
