Issue: rnOn certain trucks, the wire harness from the relay box was not properly routed. As result, the wire harness could be damaged by contact with the leaf spring hanger bracket. If this happens, the engine could stall. This can also cause the anti-lock brake system (ABS) not to work properly. A damaged wire harness could also cause a short circuit. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA sudden loss of engine power could create the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loss of ABS could also increase the risk of a crash. In addition, a short circuit could create the risk of fire. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnIsuzu will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the wire harness for damage. If necessary, it will be replaced. Additional clamps will be installed to move the harness away from the leaf spring hanger bracket.
