Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the odometer display may show the units of distance as miles instead of kilometers. The actual number display is in kilometers. rn rnSafety Risk: rnWhile the safety risk is minimal, Canadian regulations require that kilometers are displayed. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnThe company will send a letter to owners. The letter will ask them to inspect the odometer. If kilometers are displayed, the customer should tell Isuzu and no other action is needed. If miles are displayed, the owner should take their vehicle to a dealer to have the instrument cluster replaced. The new odometer will be programmed to show the number of kilometers traveled.
