Issue: rnOn certain ATVs, the transmission drive pulley could break. If this happens, clutch parts could separate from the vehicle. rnrnSafety Risk: rnClutch parts that separate from the ATV could hit a person and create a risk of injury. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnSegway Technology Co. Ltd. will notify owners by mail and/or email and instruct you to take your ATV to a dealership to modify the continuous variable transmission, as necessary. To reduce the safety risk, Segway recommends that you should not ride your ATV until the recall repairs have been completed.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2022466.
