Issue: rnOn certain snowmobiles equipped with a Patriot Boost engine, the primary (drive) clutch bolt could break. If this happens, pieces of the clutch could separate from the vehicle. rnrnSafety Risk: rnClutch parts that separate from the snowmobile could hit a person and create a risk of injury. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnPolaris will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the drive clutch and drive clutch bolt. To reduce the safety risk, Polaris advises that you shouldn't use your snowmobile until the recall repairs have been completed.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2022400.
