Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the contactors for the high-voltage battery could open suddenly. If this happens while driving, there could be a sudden loss of power to the drive motors. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA loss of power to the drive motors could increase the risk of a crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnLucid will notify owners by e-mail. Lucid has sent a wireless over-the-air software update to each vehicle. This software update provides data for Lucid to check the contactors. If you haven't yet accepted the software update, Lucid encourages you to do so. If you need assistance with this update, you should contact Lucid customer care or a Lucid service center. Lucid will advise you if the contactors in your vehicle need to be replaced, and will schedule an appointment for the repair.
