Transport Canada carries this recall as 2023224, dated 17 April 2023. The American register carries the same defect as campaign 23V561, dated 8 August 2023. They are the same defect because the manufacturer filed both under one internal campaign code, PG5215.

The two registers are 113 days apart: the Canadian entry is dated first, the American one second.

These are the dates each register records against its own notice. They are separate administrative acts in two countries, recorded by two authorities under two sets of rules, and this page does not claim that one caused the other or that owners in either country were contacted on those days. What it shows is that the same manufacturer campaign reached the two registers on different dates.

Read the American notice 23V561, including every earlier version of its wording this site holds. The Canadian register explains why the manufacturer code is published there and what that makes possible. Canada and America sets every matched pair side by side.

Issue: rnOn certain motorhomes, a fuel hose on the generator may not be properly secured and could leak fuel. rnNote: This recall only affects motorhomes equipped with an Onan QG 2800i generator. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnCummins will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a Cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel hose between the generator fuel filter and injection pump module. The fuel hose and clamps will be replaced, if necessary. Pleasure-Way advises that you should not use the generator until the recall inspection is completed.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2023224.
