Issue:rnThe portable charging cord included with certain vehicles could have incorrect software. As a result, if the ground connection is lost during charging, the portable charging cord may not stop charging the vehicle. rn rnSafety Risk:rnA charging cord that isn't grounded could create a risk of injury from an electric shock.rn rnCorrective Actions:rnGeneral Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the portable charging cord, and replace it if necessary. General Motors recommends not to use the portable charging cord until it has been inspected.
